Carved oak elevator for a legendary villa

Custom-made elevator in carved oak with neoclassical-style trophy decor for a legendary villa in St Jean Cap Ferrat. Wall paneling, doorframe, ornamental overdoor inspired by the Hôtel Baudard de Saint James (Place Vendôme, Paris). Cornices and ceiling in the spirit of the 18th century.

Outstanding late 18th-century double door in carved oak, attributed to Claude-Nicolas Ledoux or Victor Louis, for the Royal Opera House in Bordeaux. One of the iconic pieces from the Féau Collection of historic boiseries. Karl Lagerfeld selected it for the Grand Apartments at the Hôtel de Crillon.
